“I won’t be going back,” Paltrow said in 2013 (although she did, in 2017 and 2019). “It wasn’t fun. It was hot.

“It’s such a parade of morons”, Fey told David Letterman in 2015. “All the fools from all walks of life are out there carrying, like, something stupid. . . I dragged my husband with me, which I’m still in trouble for. Clearly, I will never stay there again.

With all of this in mind, perhaps we should judge these participants less harshly, whether for their dress or any unusual behavior they might be exhibiting. After all, it looks like they are very stressed …
