Sports Minister Anurag Thakur’s jumping skills leave netizens in awe

On the occasion of National Sports Day which is celebrated on the occasion of the birthday of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand, Union Youth and Sports Minister Anurag Thakur presented his jumping skills during the launch of the “Fit India” app at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium.

At the event which commemorated the second anniversary of the Fit India movement, Thakur took to the rope and wowed everyone with his agility and endurance.

Congratulating everyone at the event, Thakur said the app was a gift from the Indian government to the people. “The application is essential for athletes to stay in shape and they must follow the application rigorously. This is an effort to keep the new and young India fit, because a fit young person can make a great India, ”he added.

In a video, which has now gone viral on social media, Thakur is seen skilfully skipping the rope and even showcasing interesting techniques such as alternating and single-legged jumping, among others. “What is your level of fitness? Thakur wrote while sharing the video which garnered nearly a lakh of views and was inundated with netizens praising the minister.

“Wow. This is an incredible level of fitness. You are an inspiration to millions of young people across the country,” read one of the many comments on the viral post.
