Season two; Taylor Swift attends the Tribeca Film Festival; Hugh Jackman in the running for the Tony Award; Von Trapp’s children surprise Julie Andrews

A second season of squid game received the green light.

The show’s director said it took 12 years to bring the game to life, but it took 12 days to squid game to become the most popular Netflix show of all time.

He promised that some of the characters would return and a new deadly doll would be introduced, the boyfriend of the animatronic doll featured in the first season. No release date has been set.

Hugh Jackman is up for a Tony Award for his Broadway show The music man.

It won’t be an easy win for him though, he faces Billy Crystal for his starring role in Mr Saturday night musical comedy.

Tony Awards presenters will include Jessica Chastain, Andrew Garfield, Samuel L. Jackson and Lin-Manuel Miranda.

by Taylor Swift Too good: the short film was screened at the 2022 Tribeca Festival over the weekend where she surprised fans by showing up in person and bringing in Dylan O’Brien and Sadie Sink who have starring roles in the 10-minute clip.

Taylor spoke about the project and their performances before singing the song for the crowd.

And the hills were alive with The sound of music this week to celebrate Julie Andrews and her six-decade film career.

The 86-year-old actor received a lifetime achievement award and at the ceremony she was surprised by five of the original cast members who play the Von Trapp children. They performed a song from the iconic movie for Andrews.
