On his production company’s official Instagram account, Aamir shared a touching statement in loving memory of the late star.

His mortal remains have been transferred to Sree Kanteerava Stadium for public display, where large numbers of fans gathered to have one last view of their favorite actor. Heavy police force was also deployed to the stadium to control the crowd.
Famous friends including Rana Daggubati, Chiranjeevi, Jr. NTR, Shiva Rajkumar and Prabh Deva, among others, also made sure to reach the stadium to pay tribute to the “Power Star”.
On Friday, many Bollywood industry stars and prominent politicians, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister of Karnataka Basavaraj S Bommai, Rahul Gandhi, Prakash Javdekar and Nirmala Sitharaman also expressed their sorrow over the his sudden disappearance, on social networks.
Puneeth, who was also affectionately referred to as “Appu” and “Power Star” by his fans, Puneeth had been associated with the big screen since his childhood.
The 46-year-old actor has starred in 29 films since his acting debut in 2002 in âAppu,â his latest release being âYuvarathnaa,â released in April earlier this year. His other notable performances include “Raam”, “Hudugaru” and “Anjani Putra”.
