Elizabeth Hurley’s life has been changed by the containment of COVID-19.
The 56-year-old actress has been in “fight-or-flight mode” for three decades – but she admits the lockdown has totally transformed her outlook and approach to life.
She shared, “The blockages have had a profound effect on me. I realized that I have been in fight or flight mode for 30 years.”
The movie star “has attended enough parties to last a lifetime” and now wants to spend more time at home with her family.
She told the Sunday Times newspaper: âI found the time to remember what my gut told me to do rather than being on a constant treadmill, flying once or twice a week, packing without. stop, juggling jobs, juggling everything, not really having much time to sit, forever, I don’t knowâ¦ just sit down. “
The “Bedazzled” star – who has a 19-year-old son named Damian – believes his life has been “restarted” by the lockdown.
Elizabeth explained that she is now happy to spend her time “writing and gardening”, rather than partying.
She said, “I have attended enough parties to last a lifetime. Frankly, I could stay home and put my roses to death forever and that would be nice.”
Elizabeth has always been financially independent and takes pride in never having depended on anyone else for money.
The ‘Royals’ star – who was married to businessman Arun Nayar between 2007 and 2011 – previously said: âPersonally, I never received a dime from anyone, from any boyfriend. , no husband, in all my life.
