Bollywood News-Telvision's Bahu To Take On Bollywood

It has been a while since Television's Bahu No 1, 
Smriti Irani, has been talking to venturing into films. But it is official now. Smriti will be producing a Hindi film in joint collaboration with UTV.
According to sources, the film is expected to be a comedy and it is expected to hit the floors in the second half of this year. Smriti has confirmed the news and revealed that the script for the film is being penned by Kamesh Pandey of Rang De Basanti fame, and Imtiaz Patel, who has written for many David Dhawan films. Kamlesh and Imtiaz have also been associated with Smriti for a while now. The cast of the film is being finalized. It will have two male leads and one female lead. The television actress-cum-producer, was however, tightlipped about who would direct the film. All that she is willing to reveal on the subject is the fact that the comedy will be of a kind never explored before in Indian cinema.
