DOSTANA. Accolodes have been coming in from all quarters as both John and Priyanka ignite the heat in their pursuit for acquiring best bodies in the town.
"While John has worked hard on his
physique and made sure that heads (belonging to both women and men) turn around him wherever he goes, I am not surprised since he seems to have been born with a six pack abs.
What amazes me though is the strange body that Priyanka Chopra has", says Tarun Mansukhani, debutant director who is beginning his innings with this Karan Johar production.
How exactly?
"Well, she eats so much and doesn't even work out much. Still, she manages to hold her figure. I guess it's her metabolism that allows her to be this way. With DOSTANA, she could well be termed as a sexy girl next door", smiles Tarun.
Abhishek seems to be just the same though as in all his films, isn't it?
"In fact Abhi too has gone through some transformation as he was still working on DRONA when
DOSTANA began. He was in fact the fittest since even when John would be tired, he would push him to get back on his feet and face the camera", reveals Tarun.
But he doesn't seem to be flaunting his body the way John is in the film. Why is that case?
Defends Tarun, "See the film and you would know for yourself. The kind of body type that he is carrying is something like is required for the character. It is truly in conjunction with the film. In any case, Abhi is a completely changed person for DOSTANA and is looking really fantastic." - Joginder Tuteja

The site would inform netizens about the actress' latest fashion trends.

Kareena Kapoor's official website is going to be on an absolutely tech savvy format. It's going to be on the lines of the sites of international stars like Victoria Beckham, Madonna and Jennifer," a source close to the actress revealed Tuesday.
The source added: "Her website is going to be more fashion oriented. The site will have updates not only of
Kareena's fashion trends but also other trends that take place all over the globe".
The actress has been known for her fashion presence even in the fashion fraternity and looks forward to sharing her trend sense with her fans through the site.
"She has sound knowledge about the fashion industry and the web site will give her a chance to share her fashion knowledge with her fans. There have been a number of occasions when
Kareena Kapoor has even actively participated in designing her own costumes for films," said the source.

Bollywood Gossip : The Sessions Court has issued a notice to Bollywood actress
Mallika Sherawat and the management of a five star hotel in an obscene case filed against them.
Additional sessions judge S T Mahajan has directed the Bollywood actor and J W Marriot to file their replies to the notice by October 7.
The notices were sent in an obscenity case filed against Sherawat and J W Marriot by a social worker Vinod Jain.
Jain in his complaint had stated that on December 31, 2006, Sherawat had performed at the hotel in a skimpy attire.
According to the complainant,
Mallika Sherawat was wearing a skin-colored dress, which was obscene and revealing.

Diya Mirza is currently enjoying being bad in
Hyderabad.
In Suparn Verma's Acid Factory she plays a girl locked up in a factory with four men with apparently no way out. She's being made to do the most impossible stunts. But Diya doesn't mind. Bollywood Actress
Diya Mirza is the only woman in the entire script. "What I enjoy is being one of the boys. I'm doing everything that the boys are being made to do. And that includes all the stunts.
After playing dainty utterly feminine roles I'm enjoying being put on a harness dangling from ropes, jumping from heights, kicking and punching. In spite of my dainty image I've always been a tomboy. "
What Diya enjoys even more is being mean. "My character is bad through and through. No apologies. No justification. She just enjoys being bad.
I like bringing that dark side of me out on screen because there's way I can tap into it in real life. I like the surprise element in my role in Acid Factory. I remember seeing a film with Julia Roberts where she was a schoolteacher by day and quite naughty in the night."
Diya just finished shooting with the Big B in Shoojit Sircar's Shoebite. "Though we were co-stars in Shootout At Lokhandwala we didn't have any scenes together.
In Shoebite most of my vital scenes are with Mr Bachchan. And believe me it was like going to acting school. He taught me one thing I'll never forget.
'To be a good actor you've to be a good listener.' I'm going to follow that mantra, " says the quietly attentive Diya who admits she's an introvert.
"It was hard for me to come out and play the aggressive bad girl in Acid Factory or be part of the goofy comedy in Kunal Vijaykar's Fruit & Nut. I'm basically quiet and shy. I like to read and write."
Diya admits there's no man in her life. "Oh, the amount of men I'm linked with! Where's the time? Sometimes when I see my my friends with their soul mates I do wish I had someone to cuddle. But then I quickly move on to something else."

Bollywood Gossip : Two back to back failures - Ugly Aur Pagli and Maan Gaye Mughall-E-Azam have brought Bollywood Actress Mallika Sherawat's
soaring market price down!
An industry source revealed, "She had begun quoting 1 to 1.5 crore per bollywood film post the success of Welcome. She was expecting both Ugly Aur Pagli and MGMA to become hits but well fate had something else in store for her.
Not only both these films flopped badly but also got her acting severe criticism from all quarters! This has been a major set back for her in terms of demanding the price she wanted for herself.
Now with these two massive flops in a row, producers are being vary of negotiating any price with her beyond Rs, 75 lakhs. Bollywood Actress Mallika too has been left with no choice but comply with it without being the snooty self that she had been for last few months!"
The source further added, "Mallika was offered a film by Zee Group to be directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia few months back. It was a solo lead role and Mallika had quoted Rs. 1.5 crore as her acting fees.
That time the Zee officials decided to take some time to come back to her as the script too was yet to be completed. But now just a few days back. the Zee guys went back again with a complete bound script to Mallika.
It is learnt that they both have mutually agreed on a price of Rs. 75 lakhs for the bollywood film. The shooting for the film will begun in 2008 end.

Neha Dhupia was tagged a 'sex symbol' after the portrayal of a prostitute in Julie, but she feels the image is now fading.
"I'm happy with the kind of films I am getting, and, yes, the 'sex symbol' tag that I had got after Julie is fading,"
Neha, who turns 28 this Wednesday, said.
Recently she was seen doing a variety of roles - she played a homely Gujarati girl in Chup Chup Ke and an ad executive in Delhii Heights. She was also seen in critically acclaimed Mithya and hit gangster movie Shootout At Lokhandwala.
Recently Neha showed her action skills with a few stunts in

Singh Is Kinng. Though she managed the action scenes in the film, Neha says she will never take part in a show like Khatron Ke Khiladi.
Neha said: "I wouldn't have done Khatron Ke Khiladi even if I was offered it because it won't challenge me creatively. There is nothing creative about it. It would force me to do stunts and stuff; so I would not do it. "
The actress was in the capital to attend the Blenders Pride Magical Nights Party Tour 2008.
"I am comfortable doing about four films a year. Unless I get burnt out and totally exhausted, I think I will continue doing so," she said.
Asked about her birthday plans, Neha said that she has "no party plans; only work for the day".
"I will be happy if in the morning I get a birthday wish call from my production people instead of a work call. But no party plans yet."
As for her future projects, the young actress, who won the Miss India crown in 2002, is looking forward to a line-up of films including Maharathi, Raat Gayi Baat Gayi, I Am 24, Paying Guest, one Percept Picture Company-produced film with Emraan Hashmi and a yet-to-be-titled film with Priyadarshan.

Shilpa Shetty is now learning to play the violin for her role in Sunny Deol's The Man
"I have to play the violin in The Man and to make it look real, I am taking lessons. Trust me, it is very difficult to play the violin. I am having a tough time. My instructor tells me that it is the most difficult instrument to play and he is quite right," said Shilpa in a press statement.
Although
Shilpa is finding her lessons tough, her instructor Sandeep, who is based in Goa, says he is impressed with her sincerity.
"Every evening after pack up, Shilpa takes two hour lessons to play the violin. She is shaping up to be a very dedicated student," he stated.
In The Man,
Shilpa Shetty is portraying a girl who rises to instant global stardom - very similar to her real life experience.
"Her character has an interesting side to it - she is a violin expert just like pop sensation Vanessa Mae. Her violin playing portions in the film have been styled just like a Vanessa Mae video. Since Shilpa wanted to lend authenticity to her character, she decided to learn to play the violin," a source close to the actress stated.
The actress was last seen in Life... In a Metro.

Bollywood Gossip - Rani slips and falls in her new dream house
Bollywood Gossip : It hasn't been an easy time for Bollywood Actress Rani Mukherjee. Getting her new dream house constructed proved to be a big
challenge to her.
"It was like three films by Mr Yash Chopra, Sanjay Bhansali and Karan Johar all being made simultaneously, I was going mad, " Rani told a friend.
She had set a deadline for the dream home to be completed. "It had to be done before her next film (for Yashraj Films) started. And she had to meet the deadline somehow, " a friend recalls.
To compound her construction woes, Rani recently fell on the steps of her new home and hurt herself.
"Her thumb was badly hurt. For weeks she had to undergo physiotherapy. But before it could heal completely she plunged into cricket practice for her new film with Yashraj where she plays a cricketer.
So the thumb hasn't had a chance to heal properly. She has been going through a series of misadventures and that's why she has been keeping out of the limelight.
Earlier Rani got her office ready a year and a half ago. Now her home is finally ready."
After months and months of living with the heat and dust Rani Mukherjee's dream house has been opened to close friends like Karan Johar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
"In fact the Mukherjee family moved into Rani's dream house even while the construction was on. So Rani has been living with the heat dust and hurt thumb for months."
On Saturday the latch of workers and designers packed their gears and left.
Rani finally heaved a sigh of relief.
Says a source close to Rani, "She's so relieved. It has been an ordeal for Rani because she couldn't do anything else until the house was ready. But now when she sees how happy the house has made her family she feels all the effort has been worth it."
Rani starts shooting with Shahid Kapoor for her new Yashraj Films on June

Amisha Patel is going all glam for her next release
Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic. "You are going to see a much more of me" says the actress who plays a
character called Mallaika in the film.
"My character is extremely entertaining, but she is very different from me. I'm educated and I've never been a giggly girl," says Amisha Patel.
"Even her body language and mannerisms are very different. It was difficult as I had to learn how to act like an airhead bimbo," she adds.
Amisha also has a sizzling number with Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan in the film.
"A lot is happening in the song as it's the turning point in the film. It's the first film in the history of Indian cinema that has a song that has lip sync under water," she says.
Amisha Patel is certainly having a ball being one of the Yash Raj women.
"Yash Raj has always presented its women so well, right from the time of Yashji's films," she says.

Bollywood Gossip : "I've five film in various stages of production. Then I've nine endorsements for which I've to shoot ads round the year.
Plus I've all these stage shows that require rehearsals. I can't seem to find the time to do anything properly," she laments from Melbourne where she's shooting for Salman Khan's Main Aur Mrs Khanna.
She has in fact agreed to perform at IIFA in June and is rehearsing as she has never done. "I'm performing a medley of my songs from
Jab We Met and
Tashan. Gone are the days when I'd go on stage with just a little practice. Now I want to be my best in every stage performance."
But where's the time! "Here, at Melbourne I'm rehearsing for IIFA at nights and shooting in the day time. Am I over-worked? I'm exhausted. But what choice do I have? I've decided to take my live performances as seriously as my movies and endorsement,"she says.
She's currently Melbourne and will next move to Los Angeles for a long 40-day spell of shooting for Sajid Nadiadwala's Kambhakt Ishq
"I'll be away from home for more than three months at a stretch. I miss home. I miss my family. I've never been so much out of Mumbai. I'll finish shooting here, then head to perform at the IIFA.
In fact I'm working so hard I hardly get sleep. I'm shooting in the day time and I'm rehearsing during the night.I feel like a I haven't slept for ages."
She'll join Saif in London for a week in London from June 20. Saif will be shooting in the city for his first home production to be directed by Imtiaz Ali. Yup, the same film that Deepika Padukone is doing instead of Kareena.
And
Deepika Padukone is seeing Kareena's star-cousin Ranbir. "I'm so happy for them. I hope they'll be happy together. It feels so nice to have another Kapoor from my generation doing so well.
He was fantastic in Saawariya. He's here's to stay. I feel a sense of pride and belonging for him.The Kapoors and Khans are rocking the industry."
No hard feelings about not being in Saif's first home production?
"None at all," Bebo laughs. "I joked at the Stardust awards about not being in Saif's first production and everyone took it seriously.
Honestly I enjoy meeting him outside Mumbai. At least we can have some privacy. At home me and Saif can't even go out for dinner without people staring at us, constantly judging our behaviour..."

The dusky girl made it clear with her first film
itself that she is going to give tough competitions to Bolly-gals like Mallika Sherawat,
Riya Sen, Malaika Arora Khan who are known for their bindaas exposure.
The model-turned actress has surely made a name for herself in the short career of hers.
But the charming girl doesn’t look satisfied with her career growth and hopes to act in better films in the future. “I want to work with big banners and settle down properly in Bollywood by doing some good films,” nags Tanushree.
Now, it’s really an insult that someone is a part of Bollywood and is not honoured with any controversy. Recently, the young actress was all over the news after she blamed senior actor Nana Patekar of getting too close to her comfort while shooting for an item number in Horn Ok Pleassss.
But as it always happens in Bollywood, the truth behind the incident never got clarified and was been dumped after few days.
Tanushree calls herself a lazy girl, especially when she isn’t shooting. When at home, she pampers herself with a prolonged bath, treats herself to a 7 course meal, enjoys a siesta and wakes up only to have dinner or to hit the multiplexes.
The glam-doll would next be seen in Warner bros. Saas Bahu Aur Sensex. Whatever be the future of the film,
Tanushree’s fan would at least be happy seeing few more skin shows of this gorgeous babe.

Though thankfully she hasn't had any mishaps yet, Jiah's lithe stunts in Murughadoss' Ghajini are every bit as heart-in-the-mouth as Aamir Khan's.
The only reason Jiah's action scenes aren't being talked-about are because she isn't talking about it.
"I can't! I'm not allowed to," she quakes with contractual terror. "But yes I've done a lot of action scenes in Ghajini. They've been extremely unnerving."
The action sequences require Jiah to match Aamir kick for kick.
"And they are one reason I had to lose so weight," she admits having returned from Hyderabad where the Ghajini shooting was wrapped up earlier this. "The schedules don't suffer because of Aamir's accident at all. We resume in the middle of May as per schedule."
On Tuesday Jiah started shooting in Mumbai for Ken Ghosh's film with Shahid Kapoor.
"That's the film I'm not supposed to do," she jokes. "It's so cheap to send compromising messages in someone elese's name," Jiah suggests that the sms messages that embarrassed Shahid Kapoor and almost had her out of the project were sent off by someone else in her name.
"I've never sent sms to people in the industry beyond work. I'm so new to all this manipulation scheming and negativity. I'm just so happy to be doing two films like Ghajini and Ken Ghosh' s film where I've completely different roles."

Katrina Kaif, who is the face of Vijay Mallya's Indian Premier League (IPL) Bangalore Royal Challengers
cricket team, missed her flight to Bangalore but the business tycoon's jet came to her rescue.
"I was shooting in Goa and had to catch a flight to Bangalore for the IPL match on Saturday. But I missed my flight. Fortunately, Vijay Mallya had me flown in his jet or I wouldn't have been able to make it," Katrina said.
"That's one of the advantages of being the brand ambassador for Mallya's team. You know they'll make sure you'd reach where you are required to, in spite of maddening schedules," added the actress.
Katrina Kaif is Cricket Fan !!!! That adds one more bollywood actress being a cricket fan ;-)
"Everyone in London is crazy about the game. So I kind of grew up with the game. Here in India too it's a passion. So when Mallya asked me to be their brand ambassador, I agreed. I've known him for years and can't say no to him. We shot the music video with Sanjay Gupta and it was great fun," she said.
She loves watching the IPL games and cheering for her team.
"The only thing I hate is to have fans approaching me, not because I don't like to connect with fans. In fact, I love it. But while watching a match, I don't want to be disturbed. People tend to get in the way when the matches are on," explained Katrina.
The lovely lass from London, who gave four hits last year, including
Namastey London and
Welcome, is now learning to connect with the public.
"Whether it's the IPL matches or my songs or dances for movies, I think I've really started having fun only now after
Race. I've never enjoyed my dancing so much. Yeah, I think I'm finally unwinding both on screen and on stage. I recently started enjoying dancing on stage. I realised that at the Zee awards. Earlier, I had neither the songs nor the confidence. Now I guess I've a bit of both," Katrina said.

Bollywood Gossip : Bollywood Babe Mallika Sherawat is in soup
again for wearing an 'indecent' dress at Dasavatharam audio launch at nehru Indoor Stadium on April 25.
An The Hindu Makkal Katchi (HMK), which has been acting as Tamil Nadu's moral police, submitted a petition at the Periampet police station claiming that her dress and behaviour hurt the sentiments of Tamils.
One of their activist S R Kaniraj caliamed in the complaint that Sherawat has "caused mental agony and hurt to the sentiments of the people of Tamil Nadu by wearing a revealing mini skirt, exposing her back and sitting cross legged in front of the Chief Minister M Karunanidhi."
HMK wants the police to take action against Sizzling Bollywood Actress Mallika Sherawat. Chief minister M Karunanidhi was the chief guest at the event, which was also attended by Jackie Chan, Amitabh Bachchan, Mammooty, Hema Malini and others.
HMK had earlier shot off a petition in January against Shriya Saran's choice of dress at the silver jubilee celebrations of 'Sivaji' starring Rajnikanth and Shriya

Bipasha Basu was recently chosen as the cover girl for the first Indian edition of Europe’s top fashion magazine, Grazias. “I love shooting for fashion and lifestyle magazines,” says Bips. “Modelling was my old profession, so whenever I get the chance to do it, I always take it.”
Nandini Bhala, Editor of Grazia India, explains what inspired the team to pick Bipasha as their first cover girl: “”Bipasha defines what a true Grazia girl is. She is young, fun, stylish, successful and has a mind of her own.” A lot of effort went into perfecting Bipasha’s look for the photo shoot, but at the end of it, the actress was thrilled with the results.

Bollywood Gossips : Nikhil Advani has been shooting with hectic celerity in China for his new comedy cum action film Chandni Chowk To China. He now moves to Bangkok.
Quiz him about the music of the film and he says, "While the rest of the songs by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy with a little help from Kailash Kher is completely original, we've used Bappi Lahiri's "Bombay Se Aaya Mera Dost" from the film Aap Ki Khatir. Bappi has reworked and re-sung the song."
The subject shifts to Deepika Padukone. The rumour is that Deepika is doing a double role in Chandni Chowk To China. "That's right," confirms Nikhil. "Deepika is doing a double role in my film." This would be Deepika's third release and her second double role after Om Shanti Om.

"I have admired Pooja Bedi since I was in Standard 1. I don't know why Pooja should have spoken on this, when she is no way involved with Fear Factor. Anyway, let her have her fifteen seconds of fame," remarks

The actress has also sent a legal notice to Endemol saying that she has enough material to prove that the theirl employee was indeed stalking her.
Talking to a leading tabloid Celina tells, "Anand Chavan, has been constantly harassing me to do the show. He sent me flowers and champagne bottles. Also, he sent me several text messages. He even messaged me saying that he is interested in working with me as my 'business manager'."

Bollywood Gossip : Katrina Kaif's sizzling number "Sexy lady" in 'Race' and now an impending item song in the sporty film 'Blue' have given her a sensuous image, but she's surprisingly uncomfortable with it.
Katrina Kaif says she is not hot!
"I want to retain the image of the girl next door. I don't want the hot image. Even in 'Sexy lady' I'm fully clothed. I'm still the girl next door. It's not the conventionally sexy kind of song," Katrina told us.
'Race', where she's pitched for the sensuous sweepstakes against Bipasha Basu and Sameera Reddy, has
Katrina pulling out all the stops to erase the homely image.
But she says: "I don't think so. Everything in 'Race' looks larger-than-life, very fulsome, urgent and exaggerated. The actors are styled accordingly. I haven't done anything like it. Everyone's talking about it. I guess that's a good sign."
Katrina Kaif is equally reluctant to accept she's doing the most expensive item song ever in 'Blue'.
"I wouldn't know about how expensive it is, but I'm doing a special appearance in 'Blue' and the song-dance is part of it. Yeah, I'm part of the film in a unique way. Akshay Kumar got me into it.
"As for the expenses, nowadays so many numbers are thrown into the public's face. I don't think it's right for actors to talk about the financial side of a film," said the actress who gave hits like 'Namastey London' and 'Welcome' last year.
Next, ask her about the status of her relationship with Salman Khan and she clams up. "I'd like to keep that personal."
Is it right to presume she's still with Salman?
"You can presume whatever you like. You can presume I'm an alien from outer space, if you like. Right now I'm in a very happy place.
"Even rumours of us actresses fighting for space in 'Race' is way off the mark. I've my own place in 'Race'. My confidence-level has grown in recent times and, yes, it's partly because of the hits that I've had."
After a number of films where her voice was dubbed
Katrina Kaif finally used her own voice in 'Namastey London'. And now she says she has dubbed for 'Race'.
"I've been working very hard on my diction. I try to speak in Hindi in my daily dealings."
After being with Salman, who patented the name Prem in a series of films, Katrina seems stuck with another Prem, Ranbir Kapoor, who's her co-star in Rajkumar Santoshi's 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani'.
"I guess they're worth being stuck with," she replied tongue-in-cheek. "I just love the script, my character and Ranbir's role. He's so much into his work. I'm also getting there. For me acting is no longer a hobby."

Kareena Kapoor is looking scorching hot in Tashan, you won't able to catch her her in bikini as reported earlier by many tabloids.
Says a souce from Yash Raj, "No doubt Kareena
will look hot in shorts too. The running promos have already proved that Kareena in her new make over is looking stunning."
In her recent interview,
Kareena too remarked on her bikini scene that she is not wearing any sexy attire in 'Tashan' and it is just a rumor. Though she agreed that her role is extremely glamorous as it was a requirement of her character.
She also added that her look will be a new trend for onscreen glam divas. So was that hyped scene another Yashraj promotional strategy?
It seems so as Tashan is cashing big time on
Kareena’s bikini scene which may or may not be there in the film.

Bollywood Gossip - Sherlyn's 30 carat 'Dard'
After stunning the audience with an 'outrageous' performance, the spunky lass Sherlyn is now doing a
Naomi Campbell in an itsy bitsy golden and diamond draped outfit for her latest video 'Dard'.
She'll be seen wearing a 30-carat, diamond encrusted outfit made out of real gold thread spun specially for the purpose, which costs a cool Rs 25 lakh. According to the choreographer of Sherlyn's video Remo D'souza - the outfit has been specially made by craftsmen from Rajasthan and Udaipur.
Sherlyn got her track specially remade to give it a high-voltage club remix feel. The music is re arranged and remixed by DJ Akbar Sami who spent considerable time and effort on the project.
'Dard' will be shot in exotic locations and will feature complex choreography, sets, lighting and sound effects. A group of technicians and laser light experts have been working on the computerized effects that will compare with the best in the world. Sherlyn said that she didn't want to divulge any details at this stage. "You can see me in action when the shooting begins". I will definitely invite all of you guys...
We hope Sherlyn extends this invitation to her fans as well.

Akshay Kumar starrer, BLUE. Reliable trade sources confirm the buzz that Katrina has demanded and received a whopping 1.5 crore for the same. With that the much maligned item number has assumed a new high and also a prestigious new name- Hot and sensational dance number!
In fact, we now hear that many other top and respectable names in the industry have decided to take the plunge too. First off the block is going to be the woman of substance, Preity Zinta, who has consented to do an item number in the Salman Khan-Kareena Kapoor starrer, MR AND MRS KHANNA.

Bollywood Gossip - Man arrested for sending lewd messages to Sushmita

A 39-year-old man was arrested from Delhi for allegedly threatening actress Sushmita Sen and sending lewd messages to her.
Acting on a complaint filed by Sushmita's assistant
Rebecca Pereira, Amber Gaba was arrested from Delhi's Tilak Nagar locality on Sunday, they said.
Gaba is alleged to have sent eight letters and many SMS's and made threatening calls to Sushmita, a senior police officer from the Khar police station said.
"He started sending SMSs and letters and called Sushmita in February. The actress ignored him initially and then decided to file a complaint when Gaba persisted," the officer said.
Police reached till Gaba through his phone registration details and with the help of the courier company, which had delivered the letters.
Investigators are yet to ascertain Gaba's motive for troubling Sushmita and also the source through whom he received the actress' mobile number. "Gaba can be a fan as well or may be he was doing it just for fun," the officer said.
Gaba has been booked under Sections 506 (ii) (criminal intimidation) and 509 (insulting modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code and was remanded to police custody till April 8 by a local court on Monday.© Copyright 2008 PTI. Bollywood Gossip : Tanushree Dutta and her parents are unlikely to forget March 26, 2007.
"We've been through hell, and back. My car is smashed to pieces due to mob fury. But what has happened to my dignity and selfrespect and my identity as a woman are irreparable," the shaken actress said on Thursday afternoon.
It all started when Tanushree was approached to do an item song for Rakesh Sarang's Horn Ok Please.
"I made it clear to the producer director and choreographer Ganesh Acharya that I'm not a run-of-the-mill item girl. I was very particular about my clothes and movements. We rehearsed for nearly a week for the song. And now they're saying I was uncooperative and not ready to rehearse."
What awaited Tanushree on the set was four days of horror. "From the start I wasn't comfortable with Nana Patekar's presence. In fact after the first day of shooting I told my mother something didn't feel right there.
Nana had just three words O yara re in the song. Still he insisted on being around throughout. That was fine. He's the film's hero and it's his prerogative. But then he started acting hugely aggressive.
Instead of the choreographer Nana started showing me the steps. I don't know since we has become an expert dancer."
Tanushree made her displeasure at the actor's intervention very clear. "A couple of times I pushed his hands away when he got too close for comfort. But it didn't seem to make a difference to him.
He continued to direct my steps roughly and aggressively. Things got really out of hand when Ganesh incorporated steps where Nana could get physically close to me."
That's when the actress chose to walk off the set and locked herself up in her van. "Not for three hours, as they reported on the tv channels. But for 90 minutes.
They called up Mr Pehlaj Nihalani to intervene and he told them to change the steps if being a girl they made me uncomfortable. I finally came out of my van…only to be told they won't change the steps. Why? Was it Valmiki's Ramayan that every word had to be faithful?
I think the poroducer, director and choreographer had decided to teach me a lesson. They threatened to call the media on the sets and proclaim I was uncooperative. I didn't know how serious they were. Nana apparently had left by then."
Tanushree decided to leave too. "But my car with my parents in it was surrounded by hordes of tv journalists. When they couldn't get a sound bite from me they pushed themselves into the front seat of my car.
When that didn't work they began banging on the windshield with their cameras. My parents and I were trapped inside my car.
Anything could've happened. We frantically tried to call the producer and director. They had both switched off their mobiles."
Finally someone had the presence of mind to inform the cops. That's when Tanushree and her parent's nightmare ended.
The Duttas have lodged an FIR against those who allegedly attacked them in her car at the Goregaon police station.
"What I want to know is, where was the security at Filmistan studio when I was attacked? Where was the producer and director?
They've wasted no time in replacing me with Rakhi Sawant for the song and labeling me uncooperative. But why did they realize how unprofessional I was on the fourth day?
Can they get others in the film industry to accuse me of undisciplined behaviour? Or did they think they could mess with me and manhandle me just because I'm a girl?"

Bollywood Gossip - Celina 'abused' by Pak cricketers

Celina Jaitley has alleged that cricketers from across the border abused her after she performed at an Indian Cricket League (ICL) match.

Celina Jaitley had finished her performance and was taking what she calls a "glory round" with her security personnel around the stadium, when she heard loud abuses in Hindi coming out of the players' enclosure.
"At first I couldn't believe where it was coming from. I still want to give them the benefit of doubt because it's so hard to believe they could behave this way," she said with a shudder, recalling that she wanted to rush back to her car and drive away from the nightmare.
"But I couldn't because the security guys wouldn't let me pass. So I was stuck listening to myself being described in the most colourful language,"
Celina Jaitley, who was seen in films like "No Entry" and "Shakalaka Boom Boom" said.
The ex-Miss India refuses to lay the blame on anyone for the abusive incident, but she does admit that she recognises the Pakistani players because she had participated in a TV interview with them for a sports channel.
She said, "But what hurts and offends me more is the fact that people from our own country have chosen to speak on behalf of those who abused me. As they say, I am 'just another Bollywood actress'. Fine. Does that mean I don't command even the respect that other woman get?"
All in all it hasn't been a very pleasant Easter and Holi weekend for
Celina.
"I attended my producer Kumar Mangatji's Holi bash Saturday and then having ensured that I wasn't required for shooting Sunday, I left for Delhi for the ICL, tired and irritable. I had no clue what was waiting for me. And to top it all, I had observed Lent this Easter and was very weak and depleted. This wasn't what I expected,"
Celina said.
Celina is a child of a mixed marriage. Her father is a Punjabi and her mother is an Afghan.

Bollywood Gossip - Ranbir's Dad stuns Deepika!
It may take Rishi and Ranbir Kapoor some to find the right vehicle to showcase their mutual talent in a father-son combination.
But Ranbir's lady love
Deepika Padukone
already has that privilege. She will be sharing screen space with Rishi Kapoor in Saif Ali Khan's first production (yet untitled) which has Saif and Deepika in the lead.
Says Deepika, "I did a reading with Rishi Uncle for the film, and I was simply stunned. He's that good. Imtiaz's film will be a departure for me. I'm definitely looking forward to working with Saif. He's one of the best actors we've ever done."
But before that
Deepika is currently shooting for Nikhil Advani's Chandni Chowk To China with Akshay Kumar. "I've trained in martial arts for the film. And I enjoyed myself thoroughly. Because I'm athletic.
People see me as very ladylike and proper. But there's another, very tomboyish side of me which you'll see in Chandni Chowk To China."
Her first post-Om Shanti Om release would be Yashraj Films's Bachna Ae Haseenon where she has to share her boyfriend with two other leading ladies.
"Yes. But that's only for the screen no?" she quips. "It's Ranbir's film all the way. In my very first narration I was sure I wanted to do it. Siddharth Anand suggested I take some time to decide.
But I liked his honesty and I loved my bit in the script. Siddharth was honest enough to tell me there were three other girls with Ranbir in the film—now of course there're only two other girls.
As an actor it's important for me to be part of projects I believe in even if my role is comparatively small."
Deepika has also completed two ads for Pepsi with Ranbir. "Now that I'm doing feature films doing ads feels different.
Just when I'm getting used to a leisurely pace of working again in an ad everything has to be crammed into a few minutes. But ads are fun. They remind me of my beginning."
Coming back to the Kapoors Deepika exults, "I'm lucky enough to work with both Ranbir and Rishi Uncle. Now all I need is a film with Neetu Aunty to complete the picture."

Denying rumours that she forced Madhur Bhandarkar to change the climax in Fashion, Bollywood actress
Priyanka Chopra, who has been shooting nights for the movie, says her character getting pregnant was not a part of the script.
says 'That was never a part of the script. The ending was decided at the scripting stage. The girl was never meant to get pregnant.
'Why would I shy away from doing something unconventional? I started with Aitraaz, which was as unconventional as they come. I'm so amused by all the speculation about Fashion. It just shows how much interest the film is generating. In spite of the constant attention, we've shot a majority of the film. We're all working really hard on it.'
'I don't know where these stories come from. Apparently, I asked Madhur to change the climax of the plot so that my character doesn't get pregnant. Now where did that come from? Madhur is a very competent director. Do you think he'd allow any actor to tamper with the script?
'Yes, the two of us sat down on the script and threshed it out over six-seven months. Once that was done, we went by the script completely. I'd be the last person to ask for changes once I begin shooting.'
As for the film being inspired by the lives of real-life ramp-walkers, Priyanka clears the air.
'The film is a work of fiction. It's not meant to be the true story about the modelling world. Basically, it's the story of this one girl's biographical journey, just like Tabu in Madhur's Chandni Bar or Bipasha in Corporate.
'The fashion world is my character's backdrop. My character could very well have been a part of any other profession.'
Priyanka, who will be seen in Drona and Love Story 2050, admits that she has never been more nervous about any of her films.
'It's a very nerve-wracking character and I hope I'm able to live up to people's expectations.'
Priyanka has to cram in as much of the shooting as possible for Fashion before she rushes off in March to Miami for Karan Johar's 'Dostana' directed by Tarun Mansukhani.
'That would be a welcome sunny seaside change after shooting the intense scenes indoors on a set for Fashion. It's a young peppy frothy film. Totally different from Fashion.'

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is pretty miffed these days as her allegedly topless picture had been flashed across various TV channels, few days back.
Rumour has it that these pictures were taken at a time when
Ash was beginning her career in ad and and modelling industry during the mid 90’s where she reportedly posed for a magazine along with four, five models.
The names of the models in the magazine go as Milind Soman , Madhu Sapre , Ruchi Malhotra,
Aishwarya Rai, Anu Verma, Coleen Khan. Atul Karleskar had reportedly shot the picture and Micky Contractor had done the make-up.
Abhishek Bachchan is apparantly upset over these 'topless' pictures and is keen to take drastic step and having a talk with his lawyers regarding this defamatory issue.
Ash has also taken the matter very seriously and released a statement saying that the pictures are fabricated and that she was never involved.
“She would never do something like that. You know the actress you are talking about.
No matter at which time in her profession they say these pictures were taken we can guarantee you that they are just the work some of some publicity hungry individual,” says Ash’s manager, “She has made it clear that she will take action against anyone who publishes them on the assumption that they are hers. And so will her close ones.”
He also adds that this new rumour hasn’t gone done well with the actress or the rest of her family.
The picture reportedly shows Ash in a pair of tiny denim shorts with her back to the camera with other models as well some other ones that are much more bold.

Rakhi Sawant was seen toting along her small little diary. No, it wasn't her 'black diary'
because, she seems quite happy with her beau, Abhishek, or until the couple decides to do another drama on TV, but a diary where she pens down her monthly expenses.
Now, post Nach Baliye, Season 3, Rakhi's been crying hoarse to all who were ready to lend a ear on her disappointment with dance reality shows and how she has completely sworn off such shows. But, when a journalist at the ‘Yeh Hai Jalwa’, the reality show by 9x asked her on her part in this show, she said, "I have to survive in Mumbai." And to prove that point, she showed every one around her little diary, which she claimed had her year's expense. But, what was surprising was that her diary had only a few pages scribbled with numbers. The rest were empty.
Now,
Rakhi's claim of Rs 3 lakh a month made us sit up and take notice. Not that we object to her spending that kinda money on her daily needs, but someone ought to tell
Rakhi that the next time she comes to a press conference toting her little diary and claiming an obscene amount, she ought to at least scribble a few more pages with numbers lest some journo actually sit down to tally her claim that she lives in abject poverty which is the reason she grabbed 9x's offer!

Celina Jaitley is all set to stage her grand come back with Ganesh Acharaya directed film, 'Money Hai To Honey Hai', after having disappeared from the scene for some time with her International project 'Love Has No Language'.
When I meet her for this interview at her spacious, but well decorated house in the suburbs,
Celina talks in length about the film, and says that it is a story of six friends, who are strugglers in their own respective fields.
"I play a fashion designer, Shruti Pandey who has graduated from NIFT and yet struggles while trying to sell a pattern of her own to export houses", Celina quips at the outset.
The film "Money Hai To Honey Hai",
Celina Jaitley states, sets out to drive home the subtle message that today's education system really sucks and how.
"It is a comical representation of today's education system and stars besides me, stars like Govinda, Aftab Shivdasani, Upen Patel, Manoj Bajpai, Ravi Kishen and Hansika Motwani. Each of us has a different background as a struggler in the film".
Yet another film with which
Celina is quite excited is Subhash Ghai's 'Hello Darling' in which she plays a young catholic girl called Candy Fernandes. "Candy is a little dumb when people try to talk in double language to her.
The film dwells at length about how it is wrong on the part of people in society today to judge a woman on the basis of what she is wearing. It is a chic film and I enjoyed working with Isha Koppikar and Gul Panag", says Celina.
The actress then hastens to clarify, "Just because there are three women in Hello Darling like there were in Charlie's Angels, it does not mean that you should jump to the conclusion that Hello Darling is a rehash of Charlie's Angels".
Celina states that she can identify herself with the role in Hello Darling completely.
"People feel that I am anglicized and cannot talk in Hindi when the fact is that I am from a Hindi medium school background and very good in Sanskrit and Hindi.
I may flaunt blood costumes on the screen, but am conservative at heart and a very simple and down to earth girl who is rooted to the family".
Celina is happy that she gets to play a comic role in Golmaal Returns. "I am a young well educated girl who is doing her graduation in Microbiology.
Just as
Kareena Kapoor's character is named Ekta Kapoor, my character is named Mira Nair, though it has got nothing to do with filmmaker Mira Nair. I have been teamed opposite Shreyas Talpade in the film.
The best thing about Shreyas and me is that we have very good timing to carry off the comedy scenes. I have been a great fan of Sridevi as far as comedy roles are concerned", states Celina.
Celina confesses that she realized that she had a comic streak to her as an actress when she acted in 'No Entry' in which she had a zany comic role.
"After No Entry, I have done a spate of comedy films like Apna Sapna Money Money, Tom Dick & Harry, Money Hai To Honey Hai and now Golmaal Returns"
After Apna Sapna Money Money and Hello Darling, Celina has been repeated in Paying Guest by Mukta Arts. "I am lucky to have been singled out by Ghaisaab for a third film in his production company.
I play a cry baby architect in 'Paying Guest' which by the way is being directed by Paritosh Painter. I have been a fan of Paritosh who comes up with excellent plays.
Besides the Mukta Arts, I have also been signed for a three- film contract by Kumar Mangat, Ashtavinayak and Suneel Darshan"
Celina is quite excited about her recent foray to the West with a film called 'Love Has No Language' directed by Ken Khan.
"I play an Indian Bengali girl brought up in New Zealand. My parents played by Kiran Kumar and Rati Agnihotri are very orthodox and want me to marry an Indian boy of their choice, whereas I am in love with a Kiwi boy.
I am kiwi by nature and hence am stuck between my family and the boy played by Ben Mitchell. with whom I am in love with. It is a modern story"
It is interesting to note that Celina was slated to act in yet another English film called 'Quest of Shehzada'. "However because of the writer's Strike abroad, the film has been kept on hold and the shooting is yet to start.
Though the director is yet to be finalized, Orlando Bloom is being considered as an actor", she states as she concludes. Jyothi Venkatesh

Lara Dutta sheds her inhibitions
Bollywood Gossip - Model turned Actress Lara Dutta is on a fast track now. There's a new determination in her to overcome her inhibitions, whatever they might be worth.
While she prepares to do her first ever avant-garde film Devdas with Sudhir Mishra where she intends to change her entire image and get-up to play a modern-day Paro, in a new sporty film entitled Blue Lara has
gone several steps further.
She has actually managed to overcome her fear of the underwater to do some serious scuba-diving with the ever-sporty Akshay.
For years now Lara has been petried of taking the plunge. Akshay urged her to not only accept a film that needed her to go against her ingrained fears, but also helped her out of the dive-despair.
Laughing throatily Lara admits she has gotten over a lifelong fear. "But I can't speak about what it is. Yes, Akshay's natural sporty spirit is highly contagious. And it did help me to take the plunge."
She reminisces fondly about Akshay. "He was my first co-star in Andaaz and very very helpful. Then we did Bhagam Bhaag when he was fully into comedy.
I didn't know I had a comic streak in me until then. Now that he's returning to action, I'm also moving on from comedy to action big time."
Man's world is show -world. Even a free-spirited actress like Lara Dutta has to follow in the leading man's footsteps.

Manisha Koirala played women who surrendered to men, almost regressing to being children. In this era of women-in-charge it's difficult to find real life women immersing themselves in such surrender but not in films from Bollywood, which still shy away from strong women protagonists.
Oh, how we love to watch women weep on the floor and dance on the rooftop. But what about women of substance - do we ever embrace them without fear? And do filmmakers ever take to them without a backward glance at how the male members of the audience react to their assertive women?
In Madhur Bhandarkar's
Corporate, for instance, Bipasha Basu got into an executive suit and played the male game in the corporate world. Finally, though she ended up taking the rap for her man and goes to jail to save his cowardly skin.
An instant and immediate hark-back to Nutan in
Bandini 45 years earlier when the actress goes to jail for love. Of course, Nutan wore a crumpled sari, not a chic suit and
Bandini was no chic flick. But under the apparel has the leading lady really changed?
The woman of substance seems to have drowned in acres of skin show. What would Nutan think of her niece Tanisha romping around with nothing much on besides the I-pod in
Neal n Nikki? Who was the last truly dignified woman we saw on screen and what was she thinking?
Nostalgia isn't the only reason why we find women from the past so appealing. Nargis in
Mother India and Meena Kumari in
Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam were removed from one another by almost a generation. And yet they were equally enchanting portrayals of the Indian woman in all her splendour.
In the 1980s Shabana Azmi did a series of films about contemporary women. Among them was Mahesh Bhatt's
Arth. The modern but maudlin saga of a deserted wife had major impact - but not on men. It was women who repeatedly saw
Arth and made it a hit.
Shabana's other, more bravura, effort at portraying a deserted wife in Pravin Bhatt's
Bhavna went unnoticed. She becomes a call girl to bring up her son - the archetypal fallen woman rising to become Mother India. Cut to Pradeep Sarkar's
Laga Chunari Main Daag where Rani Mukherjee becomes a prostitute to support her family. The audience rejected both the films.
Gradually in the 1990s female-oriented cinema lost its sheen. Outstanding films about the Indian woman's sexuality like Aruna Raje's
Rihaee, Ketan Mehta's
Mirch Masala, Shyam Benegal's
Zubeida and Madhur Bhandarkar's
Satta bombed.
Only Yash Chopra's
Chandni and Bhandarkar's
Chandni Bar clicked.

T-Series have officially signed her to release the
album 'Outrageous'. The girl with attitude surely has what it takes. She has a crack team in place for the album. A very international looking video has been shot by Ad legend Prahlad Kakkar, with designer Wendell Rodricks designing her outfits and ace choreographer Ashley Lobo choreographing some wild outrageous dance moves. And with T-Series backing her up, OUTRAGEOUS promises to be the biggest launch in India.
Says Ajay Kapoor, T-Series, "OUTRAGEOUS' is a nice album. When
Sherlyn Chopra came to us with the album, we instantly liked what she did. The songs are very trendy and youthful and will connect with the youth. She is very talented. We have officially signed her for her album 'Outrageous'
He adds, "Infact the title track 'Outrageous' is very catchy and goes with the music trend today. We are mutually looking at releasing the album in December. An elaborate promotion plan too is being chalked out with channels and promotional city tours. Sherlyn has got the attitude, and it reflects in her album. We would like to wish her the very best for her debut album 'Outrageous'.

Sherlyn, "I have always been singing since my teenage days. With OUTRAGEOUS, I will showcase my talent as a singer, lyricist, composer and obviously as a hot and glamorous actress in the video. The visuals in the video are going to be outrageously outrageous and it will appeal more to the youth than any other age group, because the youth have a better understanding of sex than adults.

"I always wanted to play a village belle," says

Although, initially she was hesitant to for such a vast makeover with a 'gaon ki chori' look, the producer of the film Kartikeya Talreja claims, "Riya was a bit reluctant but when we explained to her how it will be a good change for her, she agreed to do the film."

It is not unusual today for successful heroines to appear in a guest role or an item number crossing linguistic borders. Those are bygone days, when a heroine had to worry for her 'image' before taking up such roles.

Bollywood News - Katrina is Saif's 'Sexy Lady'

Race, one of the hottest Bollywood Films this season, is around three weeks away from its release. Still, its producers TIPS and composer Pritam are leaving no stones unturned to ensure that the film not just stays in news but also take one of the biggest ever openings at the Box Office.
To keep the film hot in circulation and add on to the
immense hype that this action/thriller has been generating, the makers have decided to add on a new song in
the Bollywood Movie "Race".
The song is special since it features Saif Ali Khan and now hot-n-happening Katrina Kaif who was the only leading lady to have enjoyed a cent per cent record last year (
Namastey London, Apne, Partner and
Welcome).
Moreover, the title of the song is nothing less than inviting as it reads - 'Sexy Lady'.
As per the film's producer Ramesh Taurani (of TIPS), the song was added as it was found to be a good replacement for
Mujhpe To Jaado, which was yet to be shot.
"We are thrilled with the great response to the title song
Race Sanson Ki, Pehli Nazar Mein and
Zara Zara Touch Me. We wanted to keep the momentum going. When Pritam made us hear the tune of
Sexy Lady, we knew that this was the song for the film," confirmed Ramesh Taurani.
Pritam said:
'Mujhpe To Jadoo was anyways waiting to be picturized. Since Abbas-Mustan also felt that
Sexy Lady could be a good replacement, everyone was in consensus with the decision.
"We are quite happy with the way Race is leading up to its March 21 release. The songs are doing quite well and are leading the charts all over. We would begin unleashing the talkie promos early March. They would be a mix of action and drama which forms the USP of the film," said Taurani.
Meanwhile shooting of
Sexy Lady is currently on and would be wrapped up in quick time so that the song is on air before the release of the film.
Moreover, there won't be much wait for the new edition of the music album of
Race to arrive too. By first week of March, latest addition
Sexy Lady is expected to be a part of the newer lots of Race that would be out on stands.

Tulip Joshi is all set to step into the dancing shoes of a bar dancer in a film, tentatively titled, Highway. The film would be directed by a newcomer, Suneel under a new production banner.
After performing some unconventional roles in Dhokha and Matrubhoomi, she seemed to be very excited about her role and said that this film gives her an opportunity to dance, something, which she hasn't done in any of her previous films.
The producers of the film are in talks with big corporate houses, informed Tulip, in order to reach out to the market since the cast and crew are entirely new.
Shoonya and Hostel are some of her other films scheduled for a release in 2008.

Nikhil Advani and Mukesh Talreja, Director of Orion Pictures Private Limited, announced a slate of six films to be produced by them in the next twelve months, on February 18, 2008. The company is all geared up on the production of these six films, two out of which are already under production.
While the prestigious 'Chandni Chowk
to China' presented by Warner Brothers and their big animation project 'Ab Dilli Door Nahi' is already on the floors, Orion Pictures has now commissioned four more projects that are slated to go on floors in the next few months. The third film from the Orion bouquet of films to hit the floors in April / May 2008 would be Milap Zaveri's 'Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai'!This film would mark Milap Zaveri's debut as a director after a number of successful films as a writer, such as 'Heyy Babyy', 'Masti', 'Jhankaar Beats', and 'Kaante'.
"There are lot of love stories between rich and poor, caste and creed but nothing that is out of the world. So, I came up with a twist to the popular concept of 'Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus'. I kept the man from Earth and the Woman from Venus," says Milap Zaveri on the venture. Riteish Deshmukh plays the guy from planet Earth while Ayesha Takia is the girl from Venus. Weaved around the concept of an alien searching for love from an Earthling, the story is written with a lot of good humor and emotions that the young generation of today can connect with. The film also stars a promising new comer, Ruslaan Mumtaz. "At Orion we are looking at working with a host of fresh talent including new directors. There is a huge untapped talent in the country. And we believe that a successful writer like Milap will prove to be a very talented film maker with a bright future," said Mukesh Talreja.
The other three films form an interesting package, which we intend to make public soon, and shall go on floors in the next few months. This would include a film to be directed by Nikhil Advani, Vikramiditya Motwane and Shivam Nair. The details of which will be announced at a later date. Nikhil Advani emphasizes, "Entertainment is what we intend to focus at Orion. We intend to make quality films with new talent as well as the existing talent. Our emphasis will be on making films of all genres, which will satiate the palette of all kinds of audiences."

Bollywood bombshell and Outrageous bikini babe Sherlyn Chopra is going to set the Kannada and southern film industry on fire. Other established southern sirens had
better watch out, for Sherlyn is determined to leave no stone unturned to give them a run for their money.
"When I do something I give it my hundred per cent. I will do what ever it takes to be the best and make an impression in Tollywood," says a fiery Sherlyn when asked how she would compete with the existing lot. Sherlyn is known for her uncanny ability to look sexy in anything she wears, whether it's a skirt or jeans or her trade mark G-strings.
According to reliable sources, Sherlyn Chopra will be seen gyrating to a steaming hot item number in the Kannada movie titled MADEHSHA starring Shivraj Kumar, son of Dr Raj Kumar. The lead heroine is not yet finalized, but sources said that Sherlyn was the most likely choice for the lead.
MADESHSHA is directed by Ravi Srivatsa and is produced by Govardhan Murthy. Sherlyn is expected to shoot the sizzling hot item number in Bangalore during the second or third week of March this year. The item song will be choreographed by Imran Sardhariya and is expected to be one of the most expensive productions ever made in the Kannada film industry.
Many other Bollywood actresses including Malaika Arora Khan and Sameera Reddy were approached for this item number, but Sherlyn Chopra won hands down for her Outrageous and wild, devil-may-dare image, curvaceous body and great dancing feet.
Sherlyn when contacted refused to deny or confirm the news. "My manager is talking to them, we are discussing certain issues, you can ask him if it's confirmed or not," was all that the sex bomb would say.
Insiders say that Sherlyn Chopra is being paid Rs 35 lakh for doing the item song. Apparently, the producer-director duo were so keen on having Sherlyn do the item number that they agreed to pay her the outrageous sum, even though other well-known girls in the industry were quoting only half of Sherlyn's price.
Her music video and album Outrageous was showcased to a standing ovation in Barcelona, Spain at the Global Mobile World Awards. Sherlyn Chopra is slated to be working on a couple of Hollywood projects as well.

Its confirmed, at least for this week, Deepika Padukone’s boyfriend is Ranbir Kapoor. Rumours linking her and her various men change faster than box office collections on a Monday morning.
Last week, we heard that Deepika is back to her old boyfriend Nihar Pandya! However, we say Deepika and Ranbir are very much together and are enjoying each other’s company. The romance that flourished in hot, sunny Australia on the sets of Siddharth Anand’s next for Yash Raj is only getting more intimate here, in Amchi Mumbai!
Ranbir and Deepika have also recently shot for a Pepsi commercial with Shah Rukh Khan. People present on the set inform us that Ranbir and Deepika were very much comfortable together. In fact they enjoyed the shoot and loved spending quality time with each other. Curiosity around the sets of Madhur Bhandarkar’s much hyped, eagerly waited Fashion grows as breaches in security leak information and generate rumours.
The director is concerned that someone else could beat him to the story. Going by Bhandarkar’s thematic preoccupations – taking digs at the media in Page 3, business houses in Corporate, and organized begging in Human Traffic –it isn’t so hard to predict that Fashion is going to be a critique of the burgeoning fashion industry in India. He has the entire crew sworn to secrecy. When the new kid on the block, Neil Mathur, visited the director on the sets, speculations were rife about his involvement in Fashion. Later, the actor confirmed that it was just a casual chat.
Fashion is constantly in the news for all the tense secrecy shrouding it, where any piece of information leaked to the press (like a shot detail) turns up in print. The director is also worried that all this hype and unwanted attention could kill the film’s chances at the box office, or worse, have a rival movie on the fashion industry come out before his.
Kangana Ranaut’s now famous ‘wardrobe malfunction’ (the actress’ slip falls down) as she walks down the ramp in a scene from Fashion, has already generated huge talk. Ms. Ranaut’s boldness – basically, consenting to do this herself rather than a body double – is being seen by some people as brazen. However, Bhandarkar is determined to push ahead with filming, hoping for a grand, overwhelming reception unsullied by hype.

The Love game is over for Amisha Patel and Vikram Bhatt and now there is a new man in Amisha’s life - a UK based businessman, Kanav Puri, who was earlier dating Priya Sachdev Chatwal.
We hear that the actress met Kannav at a function in Delhi. They became great friends and soon their friendship blossomed into love. The two have been seen together at parties and nightclubs.
Amisha has also moved out of Vikram’s Andheri residence and is learnt to be staying with a friend nowadays. This split between Amisha and Vikram has made her estranged parents very happy who never approved of her relations with Bhatt.
In fact Amisha had publicly severed all relations with her mother Asha and father Amit after she started living-in with Vikram. So, despite the split it is still a sensitive issue for Asha who still has not called up her daughter.

"Why should I call her? She should call me! We didn't know that she had split with Vikram. We have just returned from Dubai," says Asha.
"Everybody knew it was a mistake. Vikram left his first wife for Sushmita Sen. People used to ask me why Amisha was doing this. But she is a grown-up girl and I left it to her to understand life. But now Everybody is happy about the break-up," she adds.
So is there any chance for the actress and her estranged parents to patch up?
"She is my daughter and she is free to comeback. In fact, she is more than welcome," says Asha like a doting mom. Is Amisha listening?

Mallika is now Rs one crore girl too

Mallika Sherawat had quite a successful 2007 with a hat-trick of box office successes to her name. However, even though 'Guru', 'Aap Ka Surroor - The Moviee' and 'Welcome' were all money spinners, Mallika only had
supporting roles or cameo appearances in each of the three films.
While in 'Guru', she gyrated to the tune of chartbuster track 'Maiyya Maiyya', in case of 'Aap Kaa Surroor - The Moviee' there were rumors about her charging a whopping Rs one crore in fees for a short appearance.
In the film, she had an item track 'Mehbooba' in addition to a few scenes as a woman who had much more than just a crush on Himesh Reshammiya.
Even though she was promoted as a vamp in the film, she hardly seemed to be the one as the film progressed.
Meanwhile, the latest release 'Welcome' is her biggest blockbuster of all times. Even as she made an appearance only in the second half of the film, her arrival only made the proceedings livelier.
Her naughty antics with Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor managed to get the house down with her 'Kiya Kiya' song and dance number with the two veterans turning out to be a chartbuster.
Says a source closely associated with the actor, "The year 2007 has gone quite well for Mallika even though she didn't have a lead role to play in any of the three films.
After 'Pyaar Ke Side Effects', her fans have obviously been asking for more. After a consistently good run, in the form of three super hit films, she is all set to enter 2008 with a lot more confidence."
The year 2008 is indeed special for Madame M as she would be seen in at least three high profile projects - 'Ugly And Pagli', 'Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam' and a Tamil film 'Dasavatharam'.
Reveals the source, "'Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam' is all set to remind the audience of the great chemistry that Mallika shared with Rahul Bose in 'Pyaar Ke Side Effects'. The film is a wonderful package.
Not only does it comes from the house of Venus who are looking at making a comeback after the debacle of 'Aap Ki Khatir'; it also has Sanjay Chhel as a director who wrote such superb one liners in 'Partner'.
Actors like Paresh Rawal and Kay Kay Menon in the cast only make this yet another more comedy to watch out for in 2008."
Another comedy which Mallika's fans can expect from her this year is 'Ugly And Pagli'.
A Pritish Nandy Communications' production, the film, as per its producer Rangita Pritish Nandy, is 'Bollywood's quirkiest, kinkiest and funniest romance'.
To be directed by debutant Sachin Khot, the film sees Mallika paired opposite Ranvir Shorey who had a supporting role to play in 'Pyaar Ke Side Effects'. A romantic comedy, the film has music by Anu Malik.
Before the year comes to a close, Mallika would be also seen in her biggest and costliest Indian project ever - 'Dasavatharam' (which stands for 'Ten Incarnations').
She is said to be playing a CIA agent in the film that has Kamal Hassan in the lead with as many as 10 characters to portray.
With three major films up her sleeves that would feature Mallika in different roles as a leading lady, 2008 could well be the year that acts as her calling card!

Rani ends her Whore trilogy!
After playing the archetypal whore with a heart of gold in her last two films Rani Mukherjee is all set to do a moral about-turn.
In her new under-production Yashraj film directed by Kunal Kohli Rani plays an angel who descends down to look after business-executive Saif Ali Khan's children
Quite a leap of fate. And why not? For an actress who has always taken grave risks with her career.
How does it feel to be playing an angel?
"Right now I'm not allowed to talk about Kunal's film. But yes, any opportunity to surprise yourself and the audience is welcome," says Rani.
Some of her critics have sniggered at Rani's back-to-back roles as a prostitute in Laga Chunari Mein Daag and Saawariya.
But Rani is unfazed. "What's the big deal? An actor's job is to play a variety of challenging roles. And I don't think anyone
has the right to question any actor for his choice of oarts.
I can't be happy doing just good-women or bad-women roles. Luckily for me I got to play three different kinds of prostitutes in The Rising, Laga Chunari… and Saawariya.
You can call it my prostitute trilogy. I hope people will remember my three different portrayals of the Fallen Woman with affection."
For now Rani is happy playing the angel in Kohli's film. She's currently shooting for the film with Saif Ali Khan in Bangkok.

Bollywood actress Riya Sen is waiting for her name to be included in the record books not for her work but the way her name is being allegedly involved with Bollywood actors.
"It's not very surprising if in sometime my name will feature in record books for my alleged romantic relations with my co-actors. Everyday there is a rumour of a new affair. If I get into one love relation, people make it 10. I don't know how to convince people that I don't change boyfriends everyday."
Riya says that her alleged romantic involvement with Asmit Patel, Vivek Oberoi, Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Khanna, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan and couple of other actors have now become a thing of past.
"I don't say that I was never involved with anyone ever. But I haven't had an affair with all of them. Most of them were just rumours. In coming days I am looking forward to be rumoured to involve with more new names. So, nowadays I have stopped denying or countering these rumours. If people come and ask me that whether I am going around with an actor I confirm it rather than dismiss it. I know even if I deny people will write what they want to write so there is no point trying to convince," she said.
She further says: "I know one rumour will not last for more than a month or so. So why bother about them? Let people involve me with whosoever they want. It won't bother me now. On the contrary I will enjoy it. In fact nowadays I tell people openly that I am married and have kids also. I am giving them more fodder so that they can write whichever way they like."
Asked who are the actors she has been really involved with she says, "I don't see any reason to disclose my previous affairs. Neither I personally like to talk about my present affair. But when people write things without any facts I don't like to deny also, for the reasons I have just told you. So, if I am allegedly involved with all the actors, directors and people of film industry I don't mind. It will bring me to a record book for allegedly having affair with all the stars."

Deepika never had a Bollywood dream initially, says her dad

BANGALORE: Deepika Padukone never aspired to be a Bollywood actor and was always interested in modeling and the fashion industry, says her father.
The model-turned actress shot to spotlight with the success of her first film 'Om Shanti Om' (OSO),
co-starring Shah Rukh Khan.
"She was always interested in modelling... in the fashion industry. We knew that her interest was towards that (modelling) and she had done a few ads when she was still in school... films were not anywhere on her mind initially," recalls Prakash Padukone, former badminton champion.
"She wanted to be a model. And it was only when she was modelling - she modelled for about two years - I think somewhere down the line... during that period, she decided she would try her hand in acting also," he said.
Asked whether he had any regrets on his daughter not taking up a sports career, Padukone said, "We, both me and my wife, believe in encouraging our children in whatever they are interested in not imposing our views. That way, they excel when you enjoy whatever you do".
"Because, these days, there are opportunities in any field. One does not have to be an engineer or doctor to make a good living. There is scope for an artist or a singer or a performer in the last five years or ten years."
"So, we were very sure that we would encourage them in whatever field. That's also been our experience in the past. You push somebody into something which you want them to be, then both will be disappointed, and they may not be inclined," he said.
Life has not been the same again for the 22-year-old actress after she struck it big in her maiden venture. But her dad wants her to remain humble, focused and not get carried away by the new-found celebrity status
Deepika Padukone PhotosHe believes that she has to work hard and realise her true potential for long-term success.
"I believe she has good potential. But a lot depends on her. She has to be very focused, disciplined, dedicated and concentrate on her work. Because we have seen in a lot of other fields also.... having potential is one thing. But all of them (with potential) don't necessarily make it to what they are capable of," Padukone said.
She may not be able to lead the life she did 3-4 years ago. She will have some limitations being celebrity now. But to the extent possible, we would like her to be as grounded as possible and have a separate life, which is personal life and the one when you are on the sets," he said.
Padukone said initially he wasn't sure if Deepika had landed a lead role opposite Shah Rukh Khan in 'OSO'.
"Initially, we were not sure whether it would actually happen. But Deepika was fully convinced.
We thought she might get a small role. We didn't know what the story was."
"Then, she told us, she will be the heroine and Shah Rukh Khan will be the hero. Then, the film got postponed for a while. So, we were not sure whether it would actually happen. She waited for one-and-half years. She knew that it was a big break for her," Padukone reminisced.
Prakash said his family thoroughly enjoyed 'OSO', and it was a different experience seeing Deepika on the big screen with Shah Rukh Khan. "I am glad that the movie has done well and is still doing well," he said.
"Basically we were happy for her acting considering that she does not have any film background. But I think she has come up the hard way and she has put in a lot of effort. Of course, a lot of credit goes to the director (Farah Khan) also for extracting a good performance."
"I think she looked very confident and very graceful. So we were very happy for her and extremely thrilled that she could get a good break," he added.
Prakash said Deepika has to evolve herself as an actor. "She has got a long way to go. There are so many established actors and actresses in the industry and she has got to learn from them."
"If you feel that you have achieved everything, learnt everything and nothing more to learn, then stagnation will start. And it will be the same for her also. She is still very young.

Saif and Kareena will holiday together for three days

Bollywood Gossips : Kareena Kapoor had made a quick and discreet trip to Bangkok last month to meet Saif Ali Khan who was shooting there for Kunal Kohli’s upcoming film.
The couple left for Greece in the wee hours on Friday morning from Sahar International airport. However, the shooting begins only on Monday, January 7.
Saif and Kareena will holiday together for three days before they
start shooting for Tashan there. A friend of Kareena tells us, “They will get three days together without being disturbed. Their romance is at a different level now, and contrary to expectations, it is growing stronger by the day. Kareena also calls him Saifu, lovingly.”
Source adds, “The couple worked out their schedule cleverly so that they could spend quality time together in Athens before the hectic schedule of Tashan begins.”
While Kareena’s Bangkok visit in December, where the couple spent almost two days together, was a quiet affair, this time the couple was open and cool about their exit together from the Sahar International airport.
Arm and the manSaif Ali Khan is seeking inspiration from English footballer David Beckham’s famous Victoria tattoo. As a tribute to his three-month-old girlfriend Kareena Kapoor, the suave actor has now tattooed her name,
written in Devnagari, on his left forearm.
Saif, who has been working on the design of the tattoo for weeks, got inked on Thursday morning at Hakim’s Alim in Bandra. A reliable source close to the actor informs, “He has been toying with the idea of getting the Kareena tattoo for a while now. He has done some serious research on tattoo designs before zeroing down on this one. He just wanted a simple tattoo with not too many design elements.”
The tattoo artiste took almost two hours to complete the design and Saif was seen getting restless as he had to report to Yash Raj Studios for dance rehearsals. Later he was seen flaunting his newly-acquired tattoo but was not too keen to talk about it. A source from Yash Raj Studios, who did not want to be named, says, “Saif was very happy with his tattoo.
He was completely at ease with the attention it attracted.” However, Saif was seen making a conscious effort to hide the tattoo under a jacket when he reported at the Sahar international airport along with Kareena.
