Veena Malik brings Banglore’s traffic to a halt
Bollywood Gossip: According to the latest updates, Vehicular movement came to a complete standstill in central Bangalore on Wednesday evening as well as Thursday morning. Unusually, the reason behind was not any procession or demonstration, but because of the hot Pakistani actress, Veena Malik shooting for her maiden Kannada movie in Kempe Gowda bus station which is known to be the busiest hub of the IT city.
The repercussions of the traffic jam were felt in the neighbouring central business districts (CBDs) prompting the police to divert traffic from the bus station area.
The shooting for her Kannada movie Dirty Picture – Silk Sakkath Maga started last week in studios and the crew members have gone outdoor shooting for the first time.
Though the film-makers had informed the police and employed security personnel to shoot the sequence in the bus station, the crowd was unmanageable. Eventually, the police had to resort to mild caning to disperse the crowd.
According to the sources, shooting started around 4:30 pm on Wednesday. The film-makers had kept Veena‘s participation under wraps. But it was no longer a secret when people in the bus station identified Veena Malik when she emerged out of her caravan. Several of them broke the security cordon to talk to the actress.Veena, on her part seemed to enjoy the admiration. ‘This response is unbelievable. I am sure the movie will be a hit,’ she said while talking to reporters.
Thursday morning also witnessed a similar situation when shooting resumed at the same location. There was a chaos, but the police was able to control the crowd. nterestingly, the actress wel-known for her skin show was draped in a saree, in the traditional south Indian style. But that did not disappoint the crowd from congregating at the shooting spot.
