Bollywood Gossips : Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) will undergo shoulder surgery within the next seven days. Shah Rukh Khan seems to be suffering from immense pain for last several month but has been delaying going under the knife under one pretext or the other.

Bollywood Actor Shahrukh Khan was suggested by his doctors to undergo the surgery immediately. The warned him that he can aggravate the problem if surgery is not performed on his shoulder immediately. But he resisted and went to the US for shooting a Karan Johar film My Name is Khan.

While he was the US he was bestowed a prestige that no other Indian film star was ever given. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan became the first Indian star to present an award at the Golden Globe at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.

No other Bollywood Actor has yet given any opportunity to grace Golden Globe in such capacity. This shows not just Shah Rukh Khan’s charm but also growing clout of Bollywood on the horizon of the world cinema.

Golden Globe Awards are given by Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Over the years Golden Globe Awards have become more familiar than the organization that distributes the award.

Before going to Golden Globe Shah Rukh said to a news daily, “The organisers got celebrities to present nominees etc and want me to present a film in the Drama category, walk the red carpet, give interviews et al. It’s supposed to be a big honour. The guys who called me are from HFPA. Also, on the 11th, I have time off from shooting, so, it will be fun because Rahman is nominated for Slumdog. It will be nice to see him win.”

In the meantime Shah Rukh Khan’s Billu Barber is in the eye of storm from barbers themselves who claim that the film plays with the dignity of their profession. Now there are speculations that the film’s name may be changed or simply the word barber can be dropped from it.

Billu Barber is out and out a comedy, which Shah Rukh Khan is producing. It is a modern day adaptation of the friendship between Krishan and Sudama. A source from Red Chillies Entertainment says, “Billoo Barber is a story based on the relationship between Krishna and his childhood friend Sudama. Priyadarshan is adapting this story of friendship between two friends – one rich and the other a poor villager – in a completely new avatar.

Here SRK represents Krishna, he plays an actor. On the other hand Irrfan Khan represents Sudama and plays a village barber. The two are friends from school who grow up and drift until they meet again.”

This is the first time that Shah Rukh stars with Irrfan Khan who received accolades for his role in super duper successful film Slumdog Millionaire.
