Rakhi Sawant turns coy

Known for her sizzling dance numbers in movies, Bollywood starlet Rakhi Sawant wants an image makeover by playing a coy bahu in an Ekta Kapoor serial.

“I am fed up with tiny roles in movies where I have to present myself as hot and sexy. I really want to play a bahu in any of Ekta’s serials,” Sawant told reporters here.

In the capital to promote the reality dance show Nach Baliye in which she has reached the final round, the actress who has been in and out of controversy, said the pressure to look ’sexy’ is taking a toll on her body.

“I am always expected to look sexy and this is taking a toll on my body as it requires a lot of workout along with dieting and of course the make up. I don’t want to do such roles anymore,” she said.

Sawant has off late earned huge popularity with her participation and her dramatic exit from the reality show ‘Big Boss’. She revealed that she has got many offers for working in television soap operas.

“I have got offers of working in two serials and for anchoring too,” she said. About the dance show, she said, “I have worked very hard to win this competition. I tried to give a different performance in every episode. I am very emotional and scared about the final.”

Sawant denied rumours of plans to get married with her boyfriend. “Right now, we want to concentrate on our careers. First we want to make something out of our lives,then we will surely make plans for marriage.”
