Bollywood Gossip – Kay Kay Menon: In the army now
Kay Kay Menon has complete faith in his upcoming film Shaurya, which also stars Rahul Bose and Javed Jaffrey. While Javed is famous for his comic talent, Rahul and Kay Kay also showed us their funny side in Pyaar Ke Side Effects and Honeymoon Travels. But in Shaurya, all three will appear as disciplined army officers.
“The premise of the film is serious,” says Kay Kay, “But there’s quite a lot in the film that gives it different flavours. And it is based on the army, so you will definitely see uniforms and crew cuts!”
Kay Kay has done an array of roles in Bollywood, ranging from serious ones to the comic and negative. But what about his personal taste in films? “Good cinema is my taste,” says the soft-spoken actor, “I can’t say what type of film I like best, because I like all kinds, as long as they are made truthfully and with sincerity.”
