Out of the top 100 search threads, a whopping 40-plus dealt with the l’affaire Satyam alone. About the unbridled Satyam fever on Google, Mr Vinay Goel, Google India’s products head, told ET: “I would not wish to comment specifically on the Satyam phenomenon. But I agree Google Trends is a great indicator of what is right on top of people’s minds in India at a particular point of time.”
