Bollywood Gossip : Ram Gopal Varma’s penchant for the underworld has led to some memorable bollywood movies like Satya, Company and D.

Now the life and times of sandalwood smuggler Veerappan is to be his new subject. The film will track Veerappan’s life from his teeange years to his metamorphosis as a chameleon-like monster.

It will trace his marriage to Muthulaxmi, the girl who fell in love with him and will show how the jungles became his home.

It will also tell the story of the nerve-wracking hardships 1,500 policemen faced to hunt Veerappan down.

The film is to be made with the help of his wife who has given valuable inputs for the script. The cast will be composed of new actors to give the film a raw feel in the style of Satya.

Ram Gopal Varma fascination with Veerappan was evident in references in his film Jungle in which Sushant played the Veerapan character.
